Import from Settle Up

Already using Settle Up? Import your existing group instead of adding everything again.

1. In Settle Up, export the group as CSV.
2. In Balnana, choose New group → Import and pick the file.

Expenses, payments and members come along, and balances stay the same.

Refunds and income

Imports keep refunds and income: spending totals subtract refunds and leave out income, while balances still include every transaction.

Note

Groups imported before Balnana stored each transaction’s direction show incorrect spending statistics. To fix them, import the original CSV again into a new group; an upgrade cannot work out the missing direction from the old balance rows.

Balnana can also export any group to CSV from the app.
